EOR Roadmap was developed for the advancement of EOR methods, reserves replacement and the implementation of modern field development technologies in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2027–2030.
The document sets out the key areas of further work, including production stabilization and growth, reserves replacement, improvement of oil recovery factor, deployment of modern field development technologies, digital transformation, development of human capital and scientific capacity, technology localization and improvement of the regulatory framework.
The Roadmap is aimed at moving from separate initiatives toward a systematic approach to EOR implementation, competence development and the creation of conditions for more efficient development of Kazakhstan’s producing fields.
